Coffee is your new beauty ally!

For many, coffee is an essential element of our daily routine. We can’t begin our days without a delicious cup to fill us with energy. You will be surprised when we tell you that its benefits are not limited to drinking it in the morning.

Today in our #TuesdayBlog we show you some incredible benefits of coffee on your face, your hair and your skin to look more beautiful and radiant this summer.

For your skin

Coffee contains antioxidant properties that will make your skin shine and give it a youthful appearance. Also, if you suffer from acne, it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce the bacteria causing those annoying pimples. It can also help you reduce dark circles and bags under your eyes.

For your body

There is evidence that coffee reduces the appearance of cellulite since caffeine helps to dilate blood vessels and allows better blood flow. In addition, there are studies showing that caffeine can help you reduce body fat and lose weight while having a healthy diet and with constant exercise.

 For your scalp

As we mentioned, caffeine helps improve blood flow, which stimulates hair growth. Incorporating coffee into your hair care routine can make it thicker, since it contains a large amount of antioxidants and minerals that strengthen it, preventing it from falling. Also, it works as an excellent exfoliant.

Here it is a super simple coffee mask that you can make at home to improve the appearance of your skin with ingredients that are very easy to find in the supermarket. Wear it at least 2 times a week on your face, body or scalp, to look fresh and beautiful on your return to activities.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of coffee grounds.
  • ½ cup of coconut oil.
  • 1 tbsp. of honey.

Combine the ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Apply onto cleansed skin using small circular motions to gently exfoliate and boost circulation. Leave the scrub on your face for 10 minutes, and then wash off with warm water. Follow with your favorite moisturizer. Keep your facemask in an airtight jar and store in a cool, dark place.
